There are still today over four hundred oil paintings, dozens of plaster sculptures, dozens of sketchbooks, over five hundred pastel drawings and dozens of watercolors, charcoal or ink drawings… Many original works were bought by amateurs or private collectors, but the great quantity of drawings and paintings left that can still be found in his studio bear witness of his relentless creativity and great production.
